Hi, my name is Jade van Streepen. I am a 2011 outside hitter on the State Champion Lake Travis High School Team and received an All District Honorable Mention.

I am involved in many clubs and activities besides volleyball, and I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am also the Goal Keeper on The Lake Travis Varsity Soccer Team.

I am ranked #13 out of our graduating class of 479.  I am in the National Honor Society, National Society of High School Students, Cavs Crew, Cavs United (our school’s club to promote healthy lifestyle choices, such as no drugs or alcohol), and I also play goalkeeper for the 2010 Regional Champion Varsity Soccer Team and member of the All District 2nd Team and Academic All District Team for soccer..

I love to do volunteer work at my church, watch movies, listen to music, hang out with friends, travel and of course play volleyball.

I was born in South Africa and have been lucky enough to travel all over Europe and Southern Africa on many occasions, giving me a very diverse view of various cultures.

I would love to attend a top academic college and also have the opportunity to play volleyball, which I love.
